Sorting the types of natural resources: finite and infinite

Before we look for the definition of finite and infinite natural resources, gr.4 students tried to group the natural resources using the pictures they brought from home into 2 categories.  Some students grouped them into living things and non-living things, some divided them into renewable and non-renewable, some of them sorted them into finite and infinite, the rest of them made other categories.  After that they presented their works and we had a class discussion to decide what would be the most suitable categories for grouping the natural resources. Finally we agree to use the term finite and infinite to categorize the natural resources.
