Mathematics (February-April 2016)

In this unit they are going to learn:


  1. Seconds to measure short time interval or duration.
  2. Convert between units of time (hours, minutes and seconds).
  3. Use the facts and relationship of time to solve the problem.
  4. Read, interpreting and creating a timelines.

Number (Factors and Multiples)

  1. List and determine Factors number up to 100.
  2. Find Common factors and The Greatest Common Factors (GCD).
  3. Identify and list  prime and composite numbers up to 100.
  4. List and determine the first 12 multiple of a number.
  5. Common multiples and Least Common Multiple (LCM).
  6. Solve problem involving factors and multiples.

Related Fraction

  1. Compare and order proper fraction with one whole.
  2. Add/subtract related fraction with one whole.
  3. Identify the model improper fraction.
  4. Express an Improper fraction as mixed number and vice versa.
  5. Express Improper fraction of mixed number in its simplest form.
  6. Perform Addition and subtraction of mixed numbers.
